If you liked Origins you will definitely enjoy the DLC's. Both are great imo. If you can get it on offer itâs is. First one not that great but loved curse of the pharaohs itâs a good twist on the normal assassins creed story telling. Plus you get to play more Bayek. Very much so.
Gold Edition is a terrible deal. I was torn on ordering the standard or Gold Steelbook edition of Valhalla and ended up going for the standard after I did the math. Typically when games do "deluxe" or "gold" or whatever editions that include the season pass, they usually save the customer $10 or so dollars or include a bit more - but not Valhalla.

I bought origins and odyssey gold (I think gold and not ultimate) editions from a ubisoft sale for $24 a piece and those were absolutely worth it. I wouldâve gladly paid $60 for each though I agree. After $60 Iâm a bit hesitant to buy games with how the state of games are.

Don't say by buying the season pass because that is not upgrading. Yes it is. Season pass contain all addons like Deluxe or pre-order, and of course the main DLC.
