It changes the game version so unmodded players cannot join modded games and vice versa. Save editing also *probably* works if both players do the exact same

(2023 - STILL WORKS) This is a simple little fix for those of you who are having desync issues with the multiplayer in Total War: Rome 2. It's a short couple
2. Select My Games 3. Right Click on Total War: Shogun 2 4. Select Delete Local Content 5. Exit STEAM * Ensure STEAM is not shown near Notification Area (system clock) If STEAM is shown in the Notification Area right click on the STEAM icon and select exit. 6. Uninstall STEAM through the Control Panel: * Windows Vista > Programs and Features
